Film information

Story: Introduced by Tim Henman and narrated by Robert Lindsay, this four-part series tells the complete history of the world's most famous tennis tournament. Drawing on newsreel footage from as early as 1900, as well as the BBC's extensive coverage, the series follows all the major developments in the game and features exclusive interviews with many Wimbledon champions, including Sidney Wood and Pete Sampras. The episodes included are: 'Dare to Dream', 'The Glory Years', 'Coming of Age', and 'More Than a Game'.
