Film information

Story: Collection of BBC documentaries broadcast between 1951 and 1967. Featuring films directed by Ken Russell, Denis Mitchell, John Read and Jack Gold, the selection highlights the different ways film-makers used television to showcase their work post-Second World War. The collection includes: 'Henry Moore' (1951), 'Eye to Eye: Night in the City' (1957), 'Tonight: Song of the Valley' (1957), 'Joe the Chainsmith' (1958), 'Eye On Research: Test Flight' (1959), 'Morning in the Streets' (1959), 'Between Two Rivers' (1960), 'Monitor: Pop Goes the Easel' (1962), 'The Colony' (1964), 'Dispute: Round 1' (1967) and 'Dispute: Round 2' (1967).
