Film information

Story: Andrew Marr narrates this documentary, looking at the Queen's working life in a cross-section of engagements including the royal tour of Canada and the End of the War celebrations at Buckingham Palace. It also features exclusive and intimate footage including access to rarely seen archive from the Queen's private collection. The documentary also examines the historic events which have shaped the monarchy, including the abdication, the controversies affecting her family in the 1990s, the death of Diana, and the recent wedding of the heir to the throne.
