Film information

Based on: The novel 'Wuthering Heights' by Emily Bronte

Story: Collection of four lesbian-themed films directed by Nicole Conn. 'A Perfect Ending' (2012) follows Rebecca (Barbara Niven), who is an ideal mother and wife to her children and husband, but has never had an orgasm. When her lesbian friends introduce her to the high class prostitute Paris (Jessica Clark), Rebecca finds herself embarking on a voyage of self-discovery and sexual awakening. 'Elena Undone' (2010) is about two women whose friendship develops into a love affair. Elena (Necar Zadegan) is a Christian wife and mother. Her writer friend, Peyton (Traci Dinwiddie), is an out lesbian who adores her. In order to move on, Peyton decides to stop seeing Elena but this only makes Elena realise that she, too, has strong feelings for her friend. The two embark on an affair and, with Peyton's help, Elena attempts to come out and find happiness in her new life. 'Claire of the Moon' (1992) follows the celebrated satirist and author Claire Jabrowski (Trisha Todd) as she decides to attend the Arcadia Women's Writers retreat, and is assigned the same room as uptight psychiatrist Dr Noel Benedict (Karen Trumbo). The two women grow closer as the days pass, and soon a romance blossoms. Finally, in 'Cynara - Poetry in Motion' (1996), the 19th century northwest coast is the backdrop for this all-female reworking of the 'Wuthering Heights' story. Soaring passions and plummeting necklines are the order of the day as fiery sculptress Cynara (Johanna Nemeth) and expatriate Byron (Melissa Hellman) enact a passionate affair.
