Story: A sensitive young woman (Marilyn Monroe), in Reno to obtain a divorce, takes up with three cowboy drifters (Clark Gable, Montgomery Clift and Eli Wallach), in town for the rodeo, and a long-time divorcee (Thelma Ritter). She and Gable fall in love but their relationship is compromised when the men reveal their plan to catch mustangs and sell them as dog food. Written by Monroe's then husband Arthur Miller. Gable died shortly after filming.
