"This blu-ray release is VERY well subtitled. On the reverse of the packaging, it states that it only has English SDH subtitles. However, it also has French, Italian, Russian, Ukranian, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Estonian, Latvian, amd Lithuanian subtitles. The English SDH subtitles, are of the first order! They are extremely accurate. Verbatim in fact. The English subtitle stream is presented in the American 'closed caption' style. That is, a caption is shown either directly underneath, or next to, the person speaking, together with any corresponding sound description. It gives the text a lively dynamic feel. I am sure that Fox has used the same English subtitle stream used on the American release. Well done Fox!! Please release more UK titles, with this English 'closed caption' format. The directors commentary, is also subtitled, in English and other languages, together with the other special features, including bonus trailers. However, the trailers at the beginning of the disc for the X-men series, are not subtitled. This disc also has a picture in picture option, which I was unable to check, as my player is not able to use this option. However, using the manual subtitle selection button on my remote, I noticed that there is an extra subtitle stream on the disc, in addition to the ones listed above, the text of which did not appear while using my player - this may be the stream for picture in picture. All in all, I am very impressed with the subtitles on this release, which is the best that I have seen on any release from FOX UK. "
