Film information

Story: Box set containing three popular drama movies starring Denzel Washington. In 'The Bone Collector' (1999), when street cop Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie) discovers a hideously mutilated corpse, her superiors call on forensics expert Lincoln Rhymes (Washington) to investigate. Paralysed after an injury sustained in the line of duty, the case gives Rhymes a new lease of life, but he needs a reluctant Donaghy to do the legwork for him if he is to stop the murderer from striking again. 'Philadelphia' (1993) is an Oscar-winning drama starring Tom Hanks as a gay man dying of AIDS. Hanks plays Andrew Beckett, a lawyer who is fired when his boss discovers that he has AIDS. He then engages the services of homophobic lawyer Joe Miller (Denzel Washington) to take his company to court. Finally, in 'Inside Man' (2006) Denzel Washington plays tough cop Keith Frazier, who finds himself drawn into a tense hostage situation when master criminal Dalton Russell's (Clive Owen) planned bank heist goes drastically wrong. Trying to negotiate the release of the hostages, Frazier begins to realise that something isn't quite right with the whole set up, and when enigmatic Madeline White (Jodie Foster) arrives on the scene, he realises that he's stumbled onto something a lot bigger. Willem Dafoe and Christopher Plummer also star.
