Film information

Story: Box-set featuring all 26 episodes from the third season of the classic secret agent series starring Patrick MacNee and Honor Blackman. In 'Concerto' Steed takes on an old foe, while Cathy is assigned to protect a young concert pianist. 'Brief for Murder' has Steed placed on trial for Cathy's murder. 'The Nutshell' sees Steed come under suspicion by a disco operator. 'The Golden Fleece' finds Steed and Cathy on the trail of a modern day Robin Hood. In 'Death a la Carte' Steed dons a chef's outfit and Cathy attempts to avert a murder. 'Man with Two Shadows' has Steed confused by a pair of doubles. 'Don't Look Behind You' sees Steed attempt to save Cathy after she is led down a perilous path. 'The Grandeur of Rome' finds Steed becoming suspicious of the United Foods and Dressings company when strange diseases begin manifesting themselves across the globe. In 'The Undertakers' a funeral service begins to look among the living for fresh clients. 'Death of a Batman' has Steed discover that his army batman is suspiciously well off. 'Build a Better Mousetrap' sees Cathy become the target for a gang of motorbike villains. 'November 5' finds Mrs Gale standing for Parliament. In 'Second Sight' Steed and Mrs Gale bear witness to a surgical breakthrough. 'The Secrets Broker' has Steed end up at a wine merchants after investigating the murder of a colleague, while Cathy looks into a top secret research facility. 'The Gilded Cage' sees Cathy framed for murder, while Steed plans a robbery. In 'The Medicine Men' Cathy gives Steed a lesson in the value of good soap when she takes a Turkish bath. 'The White Elephant' has the avenging duo go out in search of big game. 'Dressed to Kill' sees Steed attend a fancy dress party on the eve of a nuclear catastrophe. 'The Wringer' finds Steed brainwashed. In 'The Little Wonders' Steed becomes a candidate for the new Bishop. 'Mandrake' has Steed and Cathy discover a plot in a Cornish cemetery. 'Trojan Horse' sees Steed investigate the curious case of some killer jockeys. 'The Outside-In Man' finds Steed forced to employ a revolutionary who used to be on his hit list. 'The Charmers' has Mrs Gale start working for the other side, or so it would appear. 'Esprit De Corps' sees Steed forced to face a firing squad, while Cathy becomes a pretender to the throne. Finally, in 'Lobster Quadrille', Cathy makes her departure from the series; but will she survive trial by fire?
