Film information

Story: All ten episodes from the first series of the New Zealand comedy drama that follows the fortunes of a family of reincarnated Norse gods. Life is pretty ordinary for student Axl Johnson (Emmett Skilton) until he discovers on his 21st birthday that he is the reincarnation of the Norse god, Odin. With his brothers, Mike (Timothy Balme), Anders (Dean O'Gorman), Ty (Jared Turner) and Olaf (Ben Barrington), currently without their full powers, Axl must set out to restore them and ensure his family's survival by tracking down the only person who can help - the reincarnation of Odin's wife, Frigg. The episodes comprise: 'It's a Kind of a Birthday Present', 'This Is Where Duty Starts', 'God's Gift to Zebras', 'You Gotta Love Life, Baby', 'This Is Not Washing Powder, My Friend', 'Goddesses, Axl, Come in All Forms', 'Bad Things Happen', 'I Can Give You Frigg', 'Hunting Reindeer On Slippery Rocks' and 'Like Jesus, Only Cooler'.
