Film information

Story: Box set containing four popular 80s movies. In 'When Harry Met Sally' (1989) Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) first meet as students, when they share a disagreeable drive from Chicago to New York. Over the course of the next ten years they keep bumping into each other at various intervals, which generally seem to coincide with one of them having an emotional trauma. Will their platonic relationship turn into something more? In 'Working Girl' (1988) clever secretary Tess (Melanie Griffith) is constantly frustrated in her attempts to become an executive broker; even her new female boss (Sigourney Weaver) steals her ideas and takes the credit. When the tyrannical boss breaks her leg skiing Tess is left in charge of the office and the canny working girl takes over her boss' portfolio, wardrobe (and boyfriend) with excellent results - until a vengeful Weaver returns. In 'Desperately Seeking Susan' (1985) a bored suburban housewife (Rosanna Arquette) notices and becomes increasingly obsessed with a series of messages placed in a newpaper's personal column for someone named Susan (Madonna). When a bump on the head leaves the housewife convinced she is Susan, she inherits both Susan's lifestyle and her problems, chief among which is the fact that she is being stalked by a killer. In 'Moonstruck' (1987) when Johnny Cammareri (Danny Aiello) goes to visit his dying mother in Sicily, he asks his long-term girlfriend Loretta (Cher) to contact his estranged brother Ronny (Nicolas Cage) and invite him to their upcoming wedding. Ronny, a hot-headed baker, turns out to be everything his brother is not, and soon he and his prospective sister-in-law are embarking on a passionate affair.
