Film information

Story: Sci-fi triple bill. 'The 6th Day' (2000) is set in a future world where cloned plants, pets and human organs are freely available, but the cloning of entire humans remains illegal. However, this is not enough to prevent an elite corporation from performing sinister cloning experiments along those lines, one of which involves decorated fighter pilot Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger). When Gibson returns home one day to find his family infiltrated by a perfect replica of himself, he struggles to get his life back. But with a team of deadly assassins on his trail, desperate to erase all evidence of the illegal operation, how can Gibson hope to succeed? In 'Flatliners' (1990), a Chicago medical student (Kiefer Sutherland), fascinated by reports of near-death experiences, decides to try it himself. In secret, his colleagues put him under anaesthetic, stop his heart and then bring him back to life. The experiment proves successful and each of the friends try it in turn, but as time moves on the memories of their experiences in limbo begin to invade their waking lives in the form of terrifying hallucinations. Ethan Hawke stars in 'Gattaca' (1997) as Vincent, a young man who dreams of becoming a space pilot. But in the world in which he lives only those people with prime genetic material can attain the top jobs. Determined to succeed, he makes a deal with the genetically-perfect Jerome (Jude Law) which will provide him with fresh daily samples of Jerome's urine, skin and hair, thus allowing him to fake his identity and find a place on the space program. The plan starts off working perfectly, but when one of the company's directors is murdered and Vincent becomes the main suspect, it can only be a matter of time before his secret is revealed.
