Film information
Story: Drama following the intertwined fortunes and emotions of four teenage friends at an exclusive all-girls boarding school. Fernanda (Rooney Mara) is fairly secure in her position at the school as she prepares to enter her final year in the company of her friends, Kate (Brie Larson) and Lucasta (Amy Ferguson). When a troublesome figure from her past, Victoria (Georgia King), enrols at the school and begins forming relationships with Kate and Lucasta, Fernanda is unhappy and begins to question herself and her direction in life. Much to the chagrin of Victoria, she begins a relationship with an older man, Gio (Tom Everett Scott), and starts to look beyond life at the school. However, there are still challenges to be faced before the girls graduate and Fernanda, Kate, Victoria and Lucasta may have to put their differences aside and unite if they are to make it to adulthood in one piece.
