Film information
Based on: The novel by Lyndon Mallet
Story: Lone gun Mark Taffin (Pierce Brosnan) works as a debt collector in a small Irish town and he is happy in his free-wheeling, day-by-day existence. But when a crime syndicate embarks on a plan to build a dangerous chemical plant in the vicinity, Taffin is suprised to discover that he is the only local prepared to do anything to stop them. The syndicate doesn't take kindly to these signs of opposition and begins pushing even harder; Taffin then decides it's all or nothing and goes after the tycoon in charge of the operation, determined to win a victory for the little man.
