Film information

Story: Collection of three thrillers. In 'S.W.A.T.' (2003), Colin Farrell stars as Jim Street in a big-screen adaptation of the 1970s police-action television series. Street is a young special weapons and tactics team member who has just been demoted after a bad incident and is then chosen by S.W.A.T. expert Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) to join an elite team which plans to heighten its public image. Tough single mother Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez) and veteran T.J. (Josh Charles) are put together with Street and the team survives a series of tests before its first big assignment. The assignment involves transporting an international criminal, who has offered $1 million to anyone who can help him escape, to federal authorities. 'Stealth' (2005) stars Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel and Jamie Foxx as U.S. Navy pilots who are part of a close-knit elite division of test pilots flying highly classified stealth fighter jets, referred to only as Talons. They're the best of the best and they know it. Then commanding officer Captain George Cummings (Sam Shepard) introduces the team to its new wingman - an artificial intelligence-based UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle), nicknamed 'EDI.' Although Ben (Lucas) is hesitant about taking 'the human pilot out of the equation of war', Cummings orders the team to execute its first real mission alongside 'EDI.' To their amazement, 'EDI' proves to be a cracker-jack wingman and they successfully eliminate their target. But on the return trip to their base aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Carl Vinson, 'EDI' is struck by lightning. The drone's brain expands in ways its creators could never have predicted. Despite Ben and Henry's (Jamie Fox) reservations, Cummings declares 'EDI' ready to rejoin the team in the air. On their next mission against a nuclear-armed warlord in a remote Chinese province, 'EDI's' seriously compromised circuitry problems only get worse. Ben decides that the risks of the attack far outweigh the benefits to himself, Henry and Kara (Biel). When he aborts the mission, 'EDI' goes against orders and executes the hit anyway. The danger escalates when 'EDI' decides to execute a top-secret mission that, if successful, could spiral into worldwide nuclear Armageddon. And only Ben can prevent it. Finally, in 'Vantage Point' (2008), while visiting Spain to attend a global summit on terrorism, the American president is shot, causing instant panic and confusion in the watching crowd. Amongst them, tourist Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker) has videotaped what he believes to be the gunman, and brings it to the attention of the secret service agents present. The story then unfolds from the perspective of five witnesses, each following events immediately prior to and after the assassination, each one supplying a piece of the puzzle, until the final shocking truth can be revealed.
