Film information

Story: Reflective look at the career of British reggae band Steel Pulse, mixing archive footage of the band with up-to-date features. Steel Pulse were formed in Birmingham in 1975 and remain active to this day. Though a roots reggae band, the explosion of the punk movement in the late 1970s gave them access to a wider audience. They have since received 6 Grammy nominations and even performed at Bill Clinton's Presidential Inauguration in 1993. This release blends current and archive footage of the band in performance with an in-depth interview in which the members reflect on their career to date.
