Film information

Story: A documentary profile of Tom Simpson, one of Britain's greatest road racing cyclists. Tracing his life from a small mining village in Durham, the film follows his rise to the top, culminating in his World Championship triumph in Spain in 1965. Professional colleagues reflect on the achievements of the rider, who died tragically early while competing in the 1967 Tour de France, aged 29.
