Film information

Story: Comprehensive review of the lives and musical legacy of two of soul music's leading lights. From their early days as gospel performers inspired by Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson, through their years touring with the likes of Otis Redding, Booker T and the MGs and The Stax Revue, Sam Moore and Dave Prater have built a reputation as an outstanding vocal duo. Their story is told with the help of 22 vintage concert and TV performances from 1966-1980, as well as interviews with Sam Moore himself, and contributions from Dan Ackroyd and Paul Shaffer of 'Blues Brothers' fame, a film heavily influenced by the duo.
