Film information

Based on: The legend of Robin Hood

Story: Opening three episodes from the third series based on the legendary outlaw. In 'Herne's Son (Parts 1 and 2)', following the death of the original Robin of Loxley (as played by now-departed Michael Praed in the first two series), the Merry Men have disbanded and Marion has been pardoned by the King. However, young Robert of Huntingdon (Jason Connery) feels a need to don the late Robin's trademark hood when he learns that Marion has been abducted by Lord Owen of Clun and, with the encouragement of Herne the Hunter, sets about regrouping Robin's band. 'The Power of Albion' sees Robert wounded during a raid, necessitating the medical skills of Marion. However, when Marion is kidnapped by the Sheriff and Albion confiscated, it is up to Robert and the outlaws to come to her aid.
