Story: Commander Clay Jarvis (Bill Campbell) is in charge of a routine space shuttle mission, but things are about to go awry. The craft is rocked by a violent explosion and the Commander and his crew are left stranded in space with Mission Control on Earth unable to help. They must use all of their skill and resources to make their way back home.
