Film information

Story: All 13 episodes from the first two series of Roy Clarke's popular comedy set in the Yorkshire Dales. In 'Short Back and Palais Glide' the friends go in search of Compo's key. 'Inventor of the Forty Foot Ferret' sees Blamire try to get Compo into church. 'Pate and Chips' has the gang spend a day out at a stately home. 'Spring Fever' finds Compo indulging in carnal fantasies about Nora Batty. 'The New Mobile Trio' sees Clegg and friends taking to the road in their new £30 car. 'Hail Smiling Morn or Thereabouts' has Blamire rekindle his interest in photography. In 'Forked Lightning' Clegg needs to fix his bike. 'Who's That Dancing with Nora Batty?' sees Compo sweeping the wrinkly-stockinged one off her feet. 'The Changing Face of Rural Blamire' has the unholy trio launch a window cleaning service. 'Some Enchanted Evening' finds Compo pursuing his one true love when Wally Batty goes away. 'A Quiet Drink' sees Compo, Blamire and Clegg attempt to squeeze a round of drinks out of Mouse. 'Ballad for Wind Instruments and Canoe' has the trio embark upon a canoe expedition, Finally, in 'Northern Flying Circus', Compo dons goggles and helmet to become the new Barry Sheen.
