Film information

Story: Documentary exploring the life and career of country music legend Johnny Cash. Cash's ability to fuse the toughness and stories of his working class upbringing in rural Arkansas with the dynamics of American country music created his defining sound - a sound that has spawned many imitators but few equals. This documentary blends archive footage of Cash in performance with contributions from admirers of his work, including Ozzy Osbourne, Al Gore, Sheryl Crow and Tim Robbins, to provide an insight into the life of one of the twentieth century's seminal musicians.
