Film information

Story: 1989 documentary about legendary singer-songwriter Hank Williams who died in 1953 at the age of 29. This film traces Hank's life story through film clips, music and interviews with friends and fellow performers such as Roy Acuff, Minnie Pearl and Chet Atkins. Also included are performances of some of his greatest songs by country musicians such as Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Jr. Songs include: 'Your Cheatin' Heart', 'Hey Good Lookin'', 'Move It On Over', 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry', 'Lovesick Blues' and 'Half As Much'.
