Film information

Story: The Australian ballet perform Adolphe Adam's 'Giselle', with choreography by Marius Petipa. Giselle (Christine Walsh) is a poor peasant girl who grows insane and dies after being deceived by Prince Albrecht. She then becomes one of the Wilis - ghosts who trick travellers into performing an exhausting dance which eventually kills them.
