Film information

Story: Triple bill of US feature dramas. 'Gang of Roses' (2003) is a western revenge thriller following the adventures of a gang of female outlaws. When Rachel (Monica Calhoun)'s sister is murdered by local villain 'Left Eye' Watkins (Bobby Brown), she becomes hell-bent on revenge. Assembling a team of outlaws, including Chastity (Kimberly 'Lil' Kim' Jones), she sets off in pursuit of Left Eye. 'The Tenants' (2005) explores the tensions between two aspiring novelists of different backgrounds, Harry (Dylan McDermott) and Willie (Snoop Dog). The pair, who live together in a condemned New York tenement, initially inspire one another, but their strongly held racial and cultural views increasingly threaten to drive them apart. 'Back in the Day' (2004) follows Reggie (Ja Rule), a young man raised amidst danger and crime. His older friend and mentor, J-Bone (Ving Rhames), encourages Reggie to follow him into a life of crime, but his father (Giancarlo Esposito) thinks Reggie has a good head for business and urges him to use his brains rather than his gun. Which of the two paths will he follow?
