Film information

Story: Two episodes from the crime series set on the south coast of Britain during the Second World War. In 'The German Woman' Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle (Michael Kitchen) has his request to join the war effort refused by a superior who believes his talents will be better used on the home front. Working with driver Sam Stewart (Honeysuckle Weeks) and assistant Paul Milner (Anthony Howell), Foyle soon finds himself investigating the murder of the local magistrate's German wife. In 'The White Feather' Foyle investigates a pro-Hitler organisation known as The Friday Club and soon comes across a nest of suspicious activity centred on The White Feather Hotel.
