Film information

Story: Throughout the 1950s, '60s and '70s John Tate, a talented amateur filmmaker, travelled to all the great international motor racing events and captured on film a unique insight into the golden age of Formula One when it was at its most challenging, heroic and sporting. All the great drivers, many of whom knew John Tate well, can be seen not just in action but also in private, testing and relaxing away from the track.
