Film information

Story: A three part video looking at the distinct parts of the so-called King's career. The first part, 'The Rockabilly Sensation', has the youngster performing 'Blue Suede Shoes' on the Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey show, 'Hound Dog' on the Milton Berle Show and 'I Want You, I Need You, I Love You' on the Steve Allen Show in 1956. The second section, 'The Matinee Idol', has the Pelvis gyrating on television, and the movie trailers for 'Jailhouse Rock', 'King Creole', 'GI Blues', 'Flaming Star' and 'Wild in the Country'. Finally, in 'Superstar to the End', he is featured on the Steve Allen show alongside trailers for 'Blue Hawaii', 'Kid Galahad', 'Girls Girls Girls' and 'Fun in Acapulco'.
