Film information

Story: A selection of musical features starring rock 'n' roll icon Elvis Presley. 'Jailhouse Rock' remains one of Elvis's most popular cinematic outings. He plays Vince Everett, a youngster sent to prison for accidentally killing a man. While behind bars he takes up music, and attracts the attention of a beautiful record company talent scout. Songs include 'Baby, I Don't Care', 'Young and Beautiful', and 'Jailhouse Rock'. 'The Trouble With Girls' is set in the 1920s. Walter Hale (Presley) is managing a travelling educational medicine show, or 'chautauqua'. But he gets more than he bargained for when members of his show become involved in a small-town murder. In 'Spinout', freewheeling singer Mike McCoy (Presley) has three beautiful women trying to get him down the aisle. However, by agreeing to drive an experimental new car in a race he might have cut short his chances of ever wedding. Songs include 'Spinout' and 'Never Say Yes'. In 'Double Trouble', a rock 'n' roll espionage movie, the King plays American singer Guy Lambert, who has just embarked on his tour of Europe. Along the way he encounters spies, jewel thieves and a pair of sultry femme fatales. Songs include 'Long Legged Girl', 'It Won't Be Long' and 'Could I Fall in Love'.
