Subtitles are also given in English and German for the commentary by the director, Robert Zemeckis (Director), Steve Starkey (Producer) and Rick Carter (Production Designer) as well as another commentary by Wendy Finerman (Producer) on disc 1.
On Disc 2, all of it with the exception of trailers are subtitled in Arabic, English, Polish, Bulgarian, Icelandic, Romanian, Czech, Hungarian, Finnish, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, German, Norwegian and Turkish languages.

Based on: The novel by Winston Groom
Story: Robert Zemeckis' award-winning fable about the American dream. Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) is a good-natured but simple man. As he recounts his home-spun words of wisdom, he reminisces on his life's progress, from crippled child to decorated military hero, illustrating how America has changed over the years. Also starring Sally Field and Robin Wright Penn. The film won six Oscars, including Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
