Film information:

Story: Triple-bill of Hollywood classics. In 'Blood on the Sun' (1945) Tokyo-based newspaper editor Nick Condon (James Cagney) risks his life to run a story revealing Japanese plans to conquer China. When the reporter who wrote the story (Wallace Ford) and his wife (Rosemary de Camp) are both murdered, Condon teams up with a beautiful secret agent (Sylvia Sidney) to expose corruption in the Japanese government. In 'Lawless Frontier' (1935) John Wayne stars as John Tobin, a man out to avenge his father's death and save a pretty kidnapped girl, who is then mistaken for being the very bandit he has sworn to bring to justice. In 'Lawless Range' (1935) would-be rodeo star John Middleton (John Wayne) becomes sidetracked when his father asks him to help a friend in trouble, Hank Mason (Wally Howe). When Middleton helps prevent a saloon robbery he finds himself recruited by the Marshall (Jack Curtis), who tells him that Mason has disappeared. The Butch Martin gang are the culprits and Middleton sets out to bring the villains to justice.
