Based on: The play 'The Danton Affair' by Stanislawa Przybyszewska
Story: This historical drama, set in 1793, recounts the 'Terror' after the French Revolution and the battle between leaders Danton (Gerard Depardieu) and Robespierre. When Danton hears that Robespierre plans mass executions, he leaves the countryside for Paris.
