Film information

Story: Triple bill of CGI-animated children's features. 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs' (2009) features the voice talents of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Mr T and James Caan. Flint Lockwood (Hader) is an unsuccessful amateur scientist who somehow appears to have developed a device that will bring an end to world hunger. Unfortunately his invention - which causes food to rain out of the sky - ends up causing more trouble than good as his town is flooded with more than people can possibly eat. Flint and weather girl Sam (Faris) must try and figure out what has gone wrong and save their town from disaster. 'Monster House' (2006) is an animated fright-fest featuring the voices of Steve Buscemi, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Kevin James. DJ Harvard (voice of Mitchel Musso) lives directly across the street from a most unusual house - a malevolent entity that longs to feed on children. As Halloween draws near and the children of the neighbourhood prepare for another long night of trick-or-treating, it appears as if it may be the house that is in for the biggest treat of all. In 'Open Season' (2006), a domesticated grizzly bear called Boog (Martin Lawrence) gets lured into leaving the creature comforts of home by fast-talking mule deer Elliott (Ashton Kutcher). Things go wrong when Boog finds himself lost in the woods only a few days before the hunting season is due to begin. Forced to rough it in the great outdoors, Boog goes native, rallying all the forest animals to take back their home and send the hunters packing.
