Film information

Story: Multi-camera footage of some of the finest examples of restored steam engines in the South West of England. The cameras are positioned in the drivers' cabs, on the trackside and in helicopters to give the viewer the best possible vantage points of the Main Line through Cornwall and the Branch Line to Looe and St Ives and a street-running railway in Weymouth. Other highlights include a trip over Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge over the River Tamar, an exclusive driver's eye view of Clapham Junction and an exhilarating 125 mph ride from London to Bristol.
