Story: British Army Major Carrington (David Niven) is brought up for a court martial on various charges, embezzlement being at the top of the list. Conducting his own defence, Carrington sets out to clear his name, but faces opposition from the unlikeliest of quarters - his wife (Margaret Leighton).
