Film information
Story: Captain Jack (Bob Hoskins) is a rebellious old sea-dog. Ignoring all dangers, he is determined to follow in the wake of his hero Captain Scoresby and sail from Whitby to the Arctic. Jack pulls together a crew of misfits and loners and sets off on his intrepid journey - ignoring the fact that his ship is falling apart! Pursued by NATO, the Royal Navy and the press, Jack is going to have to be quick if he wants to fulfil his dream.
