Film information

Story: 1950s western starring George Montgomery as a one-eyed lawman of a New Mexico town. When Marshal Clay 'Black Patch' Morgan's old friend, Hank Danner (Leo Gordon), appears to be the man behind a bank robbery, Clay has no choice but to arrest him. Hoping to get his hands on the loot, saloon owner Frenchy De Vere (Sebastian Cabot) first springs Hank from his cell and then kills him but is no closer to getting the money. When Hank's young friend, Carl (Tom Pittman), learns of his death he believes Clay to be responsible and begins to practice his gun skills, ultimately leading to a showdown between the two men.
