Film information

Story: The late Sixties saw the winding down of steam on Britain's rail tracks, and documentarist Paul Barnes was on hand to record its final days of operation. The engine men of the Black Five steam traction in the North West are shown at work and interviewed about the changes they face and the times they have lived through.
