Film information

Story: Triple bill of teen comedies. In 'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure' (1988), Bill and Ted (Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter) are high school no-hopers who dream of forming a rock band - but unless Ted can pass a history exam, he will be shipped off to military school. When a figure from the future arrives with a time-travelling telephone booth, Bill and Ted use it to leap in and out of history, meeting people such as Napoleon, Socrates and Billy The Kid on the way.'Van Wilder: Part Liaison' (2003) is a gross-out sex comedy starring Ryan Reynolds as Van Wilder, a big-shot seventh-year college senior whose father cuts off his previously abundant cash flow in an attempt to get Van to take life seriously and settle down to his studies. But to Van, college doesn't prepare you for life - it is life. So he sets up as a professional party planner, and soon has the whole college rocking to his beat. 'Slackers' (2002) is another gross-out comedy. Three college room-mates, Dave (Devon Sawa), Sam (Jason Segel) and Jeff (Michael C. Maronna), have scammed and cheated their way through their entire college education. But when they get caught cheating on their finals by super-geek Ethan (Jason Schwartzmann), things get serious, and they are threatened with being kicked out of college. However, if they can persuade the beautiful Angela (James King) to date Ethan he won't report them - but Dave soon realises that he is also smitten with Angela...
