Film information

Story: Wildlife documentary presented by Aussie adventurer Ben Cropp. Christmas Island is home to 80 million red crabs, who every year set out on an amazing journey from mountain to ocean to spawn - an incredible natural phenomenon triggered every November by the start of the annual monsoonal rains. With the male crabs in the lead, this huge population embarks on a perilous journey from the forest covering the mountain down to the seashore. But many will not make it as they are faced with all kinds of natural and man-made hazards along the way.
