Film information

Story: Documentary drama following the London Philharmonic Orchestra during the Second World War. In 1939 the orchestra's sponsors withdraw and the players decide to govern the company themselves. At first they face financial troubles but both writer J.B. Priestly and bandleader Jack Hylton help them on the road to success.
