Subtitling reviews:

Submitted by joannamcritchie on 14th November 2003:
NOT SUBTITLED"I have played this set of DVDs and there is no subtitling at all, very disappointing because the TV series was fully subtitled and it's hard to see why the programme makers didn't bother to put the subtitles on the DVD release."

Film information

Story: Entire first season of the hard-hitting prison drama. In 'Them and Us', the new arrivals at Her Majesty's Prison of Larkhall learn some harsh lessons, and a pregnant inmate nearly miscarries in her cell. 'Drug Wars' sees new governor Helen battling the drug problems which riddle the jail, while in 'Love Rival', warder Jim regrets taking advantage of his position. Finally, 'The Victim' sees young Rachel considering desperate measures when she can no longer cope with life inside. In 'Tangled Web', Helen's investigation of Rachel's death points the finger of suspicion at Principal Officer Fenner. 'A Big Mistake' sees Officer Rose blackmailed by Zandra into smuggling drugs into the prison, while in 'Playing with Fire', Shell loses all privileges when drugs are found in her cell. However, she vows to find out who fitted her up and take revenge. In 'Falling Apart', Monica becomes suicidal after receiving some bad news about her handicapped son. 'Pay Back Time' sees Shell taking her revenge on Officer Rose, while Helen cannot resist her attraction to Nikki any longer. In 'Love Hurts', Shell tells all about her affair with Jim to his wife, and Sean hears a few home truths from Helen.
