Story: Eight episodes from the hugely popular TV drama anthology series that ran from 1956 -1973. This selection of plays, broadcast between 1970 and 1973, features scripts by, among others, Fay Weldon and Colin Welland, and includes performances from Tom Bell, Billie Whitelaw, Richard Beckinsale, Peter Barkworth, Rita Tushingham and Beryl Reid. Episodes comprise: 'Say Goodnight to Your Grandma', 'Office Party', 'Brown Skin Gal, Stay Home and Mind Bay-Bee', 'Detective Waiting', 'Will Amelia Quint Continue Writing 'A Gnome Called Shorthouse'?', 'The Folk Singer', 'A Bit of a Lift' and 'Red Riding Hood'.
