Film information
Story: Triple pack of programmes looking at steam trains in Britain over the years. 'The Best of British Steam of Yesteryear' contains original archive films of steam trains in the 40s, 50s and 60s featuring all parts of the country including both, The East and West Coast Mainlines as well as Scotland and Wales. 'British Steam in the 50s and 60s' takes a look back at how steam ruled our lives concentrating on the classic period from the 50s and 60s where the steam engine was the primary source of travel. 'The Very Best of British Steam Today' features action from the most popular heritage steam lines including The Bluebell Railway, The West Somerset Railway and The North Yorkshire Moors Line.
