Film information

Story: Dirk Bogarde stars in this World War Two drama. Tim Mason (Bogarde) is a young Wing Commander whose desire to carry out three more sorties on enemy territory - thereby taking his total to 90 - is threatened by his superiors. Suspecting that he is about to suffer a breakdown, they advise a spell on the ground. Despite their misgivings and a series of misfortunes, the pilot prepares for a make-or-break bombing mission over Germany.
