Story: Three-volume box set. In 'Anne of Green Gables: The Complete Story', Anne Shirley (Megan Fellows) is a young orphan adopted by bachelor farmer Matthew Cuthbert and his sister Marilla. She endures many struggles as she makes the progression from adolescence to womanhood. In 'Anne of Green Gables: The Complete Sequel', Anne is now eighteen and teaching at Green Gables. When a position becomes available in Kingsport, she has to decide whether or not to leave her hometown. In 'Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story', Anne has only recently returned to Avonlea when her fiance, Gilbert, is offered a position at a hospital in New York and persuades her to move with him.
