Story: Directorial debut from Edward James Olmos who also takes the lead role. The film is set in the ganglands of L.A. and follows the life of the head of the 'Mexican Mafia', arch crimelord Santana. In prison for the last 18 years, he intends to go straight when he gets out. But on his release it isn't long before he finds himself drawn back into his old, violent criminal ways by his former gang friends.
