Film information

Story: Tony Curtis presents this rare Cary Grant British feature. Rich, idle socialite Ernest Bliss (Grant) inherits a fortune in Depression-hit England. Bored and frustrated he has a bet with his Harley Street physician that he can live on his wits alone for a year, otherwise he must give £50,000 to the doctor's charity. Along the way he meets the beautiful Frances Clayton (Mary Brian), who threatens to distract him from his wager.
