Film information

Story: Triple-bill of romantic comedies. In 'Along Came Polly' (2004), Reuben (Ben Stiller) is a risk assessor for an insurance company, and hates taking risks of any kind. But when his new bride runs off with the diving instructor on their honeymoon, he begins to wonder if his risk assessment is so accurate after all. On his return from his disastrous honeymoon, he runs into the beautiful, free-spirited Polly (Jennifer Aniston), an old acquaintance from junior high, at a party. But is he ready to put his feelings on the line, let himself go and have some fun with her? 'Win a Date With Ted Hamilton' (2004), stars Kate Bosworth as Rosalee Futch, a check-out girl working in a Piggly Wiggly store in West Virginia. When she wins a contest to go on a date with Hollywood bad boy Tad Hamilton (Josh Duhamel), whose agent and manager have devised the contest as a way to clean up Tad's image, Tad - to everyone's surprise - falls instantly in love with Rosalee and decides to leave the city and move to West Virginia to be with her. But a love triangle develops when Rosalee's best friend and co-worker Pete (Topher Grace) declares his undying love for her, and she finds herself faced with a difficult choice. Finally, in '50 First Dates' (2004), Drew Barrymore stars as Lucy Whitmore, a beautiful woman suffering from acute short-term memory loss. After a car accident several months before, she has been left with a rare brain condition that causes her memory to be totally erased every night when she goes to sleep. Adam Sandler plays Henry Roth, a vet who works at the aquarium in the Hawaiian resort where Lucy is living a quiet life with her over-protective father (Blake Clark) and goofy brother (Sean Astin). Henry usually spends his summers seducing a string of female tourists that he'll never see again - but when he meets Lucy he realises he's found something special, and resolves to give up his promiscuous, non-commital lifestyle. The only problem is, when he meets her again the next day, she hasn't got a clue who he is. Henry embarks on an elaborate quest to win her heart, with the help of his stoner best friend Ula (Rob Schneider). Dan Akroyd makes a cameo appearance as Lucy's doctor.
