Film information

Based on: The books by Lewis Carroll

Story: This two-part television mini-series is a modern-day reimagining of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and 'Alice Through the Looking Glass'. Alice Hamilton (Caterina Scorsone) is a black belt karate instructor who is emotionally scarred by her father's unexplained departure when she was ten years old. When her boyfriend Jack (Philip Winchester) is abducted by a gang of strange men, Alice follows them through the looking glass and down the rabbit hole and soon finds herself immersed in the outlandish and extraordinary world of Wonderland. There she is befriended by the sharp-tongued Hatter (Andrew Lee Potts), and the two join forces to face up to the fearsome Red Queen (Kathy Bates). Harry Dean Stanton and Tim Curry co-star.
