Film information

Story: Opening two episodes of the BBC's swinging Sixties adventure series. In 'A Vintage Year for Scoundrels', Edwardian adventurer Adam Adamant (Gerald Harper) is lured into a trap by his arch enemy the Face (Peter Ducrow), and frozen in a block of ice. Sixty-four years later, Adam is defrosted after being discovered by workmen on a building site, and resumes his crime-fighting career with the help of fan Georgina Jones (Juliet Harmer). 'Death Has a Thousand Faces' sees Adam finding a new ally in former music hall artiste William E. Simms (Jack May), who assists him in the investigation of a stabbing in Blackpool.
